Campaigns

I created a comprehensive style guide for NYC’s Public Power Campaign, part of a statewide coalition to democratize the energy grid.

The goal was to create an accessible document that designers could easily interpret to create visually cohesive graphics. I took inspiration from mid-century printmakers to create a blocky wordmark that was neither corporate nor kitschy, but evoked environmental activist themes.

My style guide is still in use for this successful campaign to pass the Build Public Renewables Act!

Prior to the style refresh, I created social media content and print materials for NYC-DSA.

I created motion graphics for the Public Power Hour, a livestream show created to organize people virtually during the pandemic. I also worked on electoral campaigns for Phara Souffrant Forrest, Zohran Mamdani, Marcela Mitaynes, and Samelys López.

I made interview videos during the heat wave of 2021 and ensuing blackouts demonstrating how Con Edison fails its customers based on zip code.
